Daily feeding happens in front of Reception where you may see King Parrots, Rainbow Lorikeets, Rosellas, Kookaburras, Doves, Pink Galahs, Red Wing Parrots, Magpies, and many other species that come to visit.

Wineries:

Why not visit our beautiful Wineries in the South Burnett Region. We are right in the middle of the Barambah Wine Trail where you can experience four Wineries within 6 kilometers of the Park. You can enjoy a leisurely lunch while wine tasting and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Queensland Dairy and Heritage Museum:

Visit the Museum and discover how things were done in the old days. Walk through the many displays of a bygone era.

Boat Mountain:

Spectacular views are your reward for the short walk to the top. Experience panoramic views from the Mountain Ridgetop providing spectacular opportunities for Bird Watching and Photography.

Bjelke Petersen Dam:

Why not visit the South Burnett’s best Dam and have a fish, picnic or BBQ and Boat Ramps are also available. The Dam is only 6 kilometres from the Park.

Cherbourg Ration Shed Museum:

Learn about the Indigenous Peoples History in the area and chat with the Elders and view the many displays.

Visit Wondai Timber and Heritage Museum, that shows you how timber was felled and dressed in the early days, visit Dimities Cottage and Gardens, the Art Gallery or why not take a stroll through the numerous antique and second hand shops.
